Keen To Clean started in 2021 as a way to allow me to spend time with my daughter when she needed me, I realise how important it is to spend time with our family. At Keen To Clean we want to take care of the cleaning so you can spend more time with the people you love, doing the things that you love.

My aim was to build a company that is based on good relationships. We understand the significance of letting someone into your home and we will always treat it and you with respect. We feel a social responsibility to provide a high standard of service for our clients, a fulfilling and encouraging work place for employees and continuing support of Ataxia UK.

Each job is tailored to the individual, we want to make your life easier and so we will help in any way that suits you! Before any work is carried out, an in person quote will be done so you will have the opportunity to discuss exactly what you want from the service.

Every Clean Supports another family with Ataxia.
In 2020, my then 3-year-old daughter became unwell and within weeks was diagnosed with a condition called Ataxia.
It is a neurological condition that affects the cerebellum and everything it controls.
My daughter went from a vibrant, active little girl to being unable to walk, her speech was affected- she could no longer communicate with us and her whole body was wracked with violent tremors.
I had to quit my job in the NHS to care for her full time as she was unable to attend nursery anymore. I wanted to do something that would allow me to still be available for the endless hospital appointments that we had to attend, and cleaning seemed like the answer to all my problems! I love cleaning and thought that if I started my own business, then I could help other people to free up more time to spend with their families rather than worrying about trying to do all the housework.
I realise now just how precious our time with loved ones is and we shouldn't waste it.
We have had so much support from a charity called Ataxia UK who are always doing research into treatments and helping people on the journey to diagnosis and beyond. Because of this, Keen To Clean make yearly donations to Ataxia UK.
When you support this business you are also supporting an amazing charity that helps so many families.

Do you charge by the hour?
At Keen To Clean, we don't charge by the hour-we charge per job. This allows us to focus on delivering a consistently high standard of work without watching the clock. Every clean is priced based on the size of the property, the type of clean required, and the level of work involved.
You'll know exactly what to expect with no hidden fees and no rush to finish. Our goal is always quality over speed.
Do you have insurance?
You're in safe hands with us. We're fully insured, professionally trained, and have all the necessary legal documents in place. We're also SafeClean verified, so you can feel confident knowing we meet the highest standards.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
We don't currently offer virtual consultations. We prefer to visit in person so we can accurately assess the space, understand your needs, and give a fair, tailored quote. Just as importantly, it gives us a chance to meet you face to face. We value building strong relationships with our clients, and we want you to feel completely comfortable and confident about who you're welcoming into your home.
